How long would it take for me to get a nice shape to my abs? What kind of workouts should I do?
The thing is, everyone in the world already has abdominal muscles, it’s just that they get covered up by a layer of fatty tissue.
so the best way to show them is to lose weight.
But yes, it is good to work them, because it makes them larger and more show-able.
The best exercises for abs are probably sit ups/crunches. But they should be done properly.
everyone thinks you’re supposed to come way off the ground, this is false.
Here’s the BEST way to do crunches:
-Lay on the ground with your knees bent and your feet planted flat on the ground.
-Now focus on lifting JUST your shoulders off the ground, and hold at the top for a second.
-Lay back down to your shoulders, and repeat.
-focus on keeping your abs flexed when you are raising, and keeping them flexed when you are up, and relaxing them as you go back down.
The perfect sit up/crunch, is done by only lifting the shoulders, and keeping the lower part of your back on the ground.
I heard that squats are also good for your abs (as well as your butt and lower body)
