How can I get toned abs?
I’m still in high school, and I’m not fat or anything. I just want to get my abs toned and I want to know if there are any types of exercises I can do at home to sort of tone my abs. If you have and ideas or know what works, please tell me. Thanks!

Maybe crunches but instead of pulling straight up go up to the side..if that makes sense..

There isn’t gonna be a magic answer to this question. As long as your BodyFat percentage is low enough to see your abs you should see them. You basicly want to train your upper and lower abs.(lower abs being harder to train). Basic crunches are good for upper abs…if these are too easy for you, hold a weight by your chest and do crunches. For lower abs you can do leg raises…or get a ball or roller get on your knees and roll out in front of you and back again. If you want results you need to really put in the work, 5 mins isn’t gonna cut it. Stay consistent this is huge, give your abs a chance 1-2 days and start all over.

do cardio 30 min a day and try the 8 minute ab workout just look it up on you tube, worked for me

next person that asks this ima hit them with a 2×4 on the head… LOL j/k … lose body fat (cardio) do ab work , crunches 3×12 time a week.

Depends how fat you are. If you’re average it should be pretty easy, but if you ARE overweight, you’re going to have to work hard and do lots of cardio to get rid of the fat on top of your muscles. Here are some tummy exercises.
Crunches - Lie on your back with your knees bent. Keep your fingers on your temples or your wrists crossed over your chest, anything that keeps your hands near your head and they aren’t supporting your neck. If you’re not comfy, you can interlock your fingers behind your neck, but make sure you aren’t pulling your neck as you will hurt yourself. Suck in your belly and lift your shoulders off the ground. You know you’re doing this right when you feel the muscles in your upper abs start to cramp. Lower yourself while still feeling your stomach muscles working. Do ten of these a day to start and gradually build up.
Side crunches - Basically the same, but pile your legs to the left or right, so you feel the muscles in your sides and above your hip bones working. Keep the legs bent when to the side.
Sit-ups - If you don’t know what these are, don’t even bother.
Leg lifts - Lie flat on your back with your hands either by your side or under the bone just above your bum/lower back. This might make it easier to support yourself. Keep your legs straight and lift them to the ceiling and towards your face as much as you can. You should feel the muscles in your lower stomach working. This will be harder, so don’t worry about starting off with bent knees or not getting your legs very high. Just concentrate on your stomach and don’t let your legs touch the ground if you can. Just let them stop a few cms above the ground and then lift again. Repeat as much as you can.
You will feel your abs get stronger and wonder why it doesn’t show as much. That’s because the flat stomach will only show once you get rid of the fat on top of it, so do cardio if you can. Drink plenty of water and change your diet. Even just a little is good. And try to avoid bloaty foods on a daily basis as this will make you bloat (duh!) and not feel sexy at all.
