How would i get six pack abs if im already at the right percentage?

if you are in the right body fat percentage than what you got to do is the right exercises and you must eat right.
regular crunches usually won’t do the job, there are much better exercises.

I just started yesterday. I do one day situps the next day leg raises, and repeat. I do 30min a day. How long does it take to see abs forming? In order to get a super six pack, can I still just do 30min a day at the same pace, or do I need to excersise longer for stronger results?
I’m not fat that is not the problem. I asked HOW LONG it takes. Just give me a time frame.

Just like other muscles, abdomen muscles also need to be built. So do the exercises.
Eat healthy.
It takes time to build muscles. Give that Time!

After you feel you have gained enough muscle mass there .. its time for cutting season!

Start cutting. ‘Cutting’ means loosing body fat. You will need B.F. [body fat] as low as 10-14% for your abs to ‘pop’ out.

Since abdomen region is the primary region for fat storage by of the body, hence you NEED low B.F. %age!

If you want to know exactly how ‘much’ time is needed, it depends on many factors.

* How dedicated you are.
* How hard you train.
* What you eat.
* How much muscle mass is enough for you tyo make u smile with pride!!
* Above all .. genetics!

It may take you almost 1 year to pop out your abs if you are dedicated and you dont have high B.F. .. i.e. you have good genetics

it might take you 3 years if your genetics succkk !

I have been doing this workout daily, increasing by 4 crunches every week until I get to 200 in February.
100 crunches, 2 minute 6 inches non stop. When I hit 200 in February, will I have perfect six pack abs? So far I am at 124, so I’ve been doing this for a while.
My age is 16, in February I’ll be 17

is that all you do? have to do cardio to burn that fat

Well, it would be nice to know the degree of "badness" in your back. I have a slightly bad back, which I’ve had for many years. I was laid up in bed for two days solid when I damaged it by lifting half of a large roof A/C, while bent over and fully stretched out, because of not wanting to step in fresh tar on the roof.

I find that I can do crunches (even 200-300), side crunches, and reverse crunches, with no back issues caused by them. Ab exercises are most effective by doing single sets - to exhaustion. Sit-ups are something I had to give up long ago, but are probably best not done by anyone anyhow (inherently bad for your back). You can easily adjust the amount of effort you put into crunches in case your back is worse than mine - just don’t go further than you are comfortable with. Reverse crunches, in particular, seem to be beneficial rather than harmful to the back. It’s a good idea to exercise/stretch when you have a bad back (or not). It’s also good common sense to be cautious and not overdue it.

Aerobics are important to burn off excess fat. Swimming is probably best with a bad back (even without). I walk (daily) on natural (hilly) ground, carrying a dumbell, for my main aerobics. I carry only one, switching hands, this gives more imbalance to my walking (stresses small muscles more). I also time my walk. Walking in sand is also very good for increasing the effectiveness while decreasing impact, if you have it nearby.

i weighed 100kgs before, but now i weigh 66kgs[mainly due to exercise & diet}.but i still have a small amount of fat in my stomach as well as in the chest region.will i get six pack abs if i go to gym in this condition???

do these exercises once a day in the morning when you get up or before you go to bed, after week you should find it easier to do the exercises, 3 weeks the abs should be visible but not a lot, 5-6 weeks and your abs should be visible. It really works.

Will crunches get me six-pack abs?

I’m really thin, my body fat percentage is about 5%, not more than 6%. I’ve been doing swimming daily for 5 years now and i got stronger and more resistant, but didn’t gain much muscle mass.I started doing crunches, bycicles and sit-ups along with other exercises for arms etc. What I’m looking for is a 6 pack in about 6 months of ab workouts 2-3 times a week (every other day). I do 3 sets of each exercise with 8-15 reps each (and i feel the `good` pain in the abs). so is it possible to get a six pack in 6 months of my workouts if my body fat is at 6% and i eat meat and fish almost every day?

yeah, it sounds all good… it would only be your genetics holding you back…
i cannot make them pop to save me… *shrugs*

well, the best thing for you to do to save some time is to start reducing that extra body fat and at the same time focus on the right exercises.
there’s a great video i can refer you to, watch it and you’ll have all the answer (it’s too much to write in here… :)
