Hi,
I have been weightlifting for about 4 years. Not too much and off and on. I have built up a ok, tone looking body. Here is what it looks like:
http://i419.photobucket.com/albums/pp272/darkshadow_71/Me/photo-1.jpg
Ok, now, what do I have to do to REALLY get my abs to pop? Here is what I do and eat:
I do cardio every day HIIT cardio (High intensity for 1 min then low intensity for 1.30 min) I do this 15 mins at lunch 15 mins at dinner
{Everything is low weight/high rep}
Monday= Back and biceps / 15 min Tues= Chest and Triceps
Tuesday = Chest and triceps
Wednesday=Shoulders/abs
Thurs = Rest
Friday=Start over
Etc…
I switch up my weight lifting reguraly
Diet:
I try not to eat carbs, but I find it hard to get full with out them. What in the world is a 17 year old supposed to eat? I just cant starve myself for these abs, I have to be able to eat bread or else Ill just get hungry and splurge on something fattening
Heres the list
Lightly salted peanuts
Grilled Chicken
White Rice
Cheerios with splenda
Tea (Green , black, etc)
Carrots
Broccoli,
Celery
Pretty much all the vegetables
I eat A LOT of peanut butter, it keeps me full… for a little bit
45 calorie bread, usually 6 pieces a day
Sandwhiches
So what am I doing wrong? I really want my abs to pop. They are already there, I just need to get that tiny bit of fat around my waist off. What do I eat to stay full? I am ALWAYS hungry! Always always! I am always eating (healthy food, usually low calorie bread, cheerios, or whatever) I drink lots of water. I mean, seriously, how does a 17 year do to finally get his abs to pop? What do I add or take away from my diet?
Please everyone, I seriously have been battling this out for ripped abs for years and I am seriously doing something wrong. What is it? Please help.
Thank you so much
Do abs for 30 mins. hard 3 times a week, Your cardio is good but try having a higher high intensity to low intensity ratio….Mine is 1 min high 20 sec low for 10- 15 minutes, Medium weight squating and holding form also works your core….and you must work them from all angles…do different abs workouts so your muscles don’t become used to it

ok so i weigh 150lbs i already lost over 15lbs. but i still dont have a six pack, or i do but its under a bit of fat soo what i wanna do is just burn that fat off and increase my six pack muscle size..
do you have a six pack.. if so then what size of pants do you use.. i currently use a size 29w to a 30w. =P
if u want your abs to show u have to do cardio and eat healthy, eat food with less amount of mass even
if it has more calories because they wont blow your stomach up ,instead it will keep it smaller, and as you exercise your metabolisim will go up and you wont get as hungry as often, which will help you lose
a large amount of fat from your stomach, so remember do cardio, but not blowing up your stomach
with food with a large amount of mass is the key, eat smaller meals

I’ve been in the gym for sometimes, this is my third week. I’m just wondering how long it takes for a six-pack. Anyone know?
I go to the gym like 3-4 times a week. I do mostly all exercises including cardio, crunches and triceps/biceps… I guess maybe my diet is a problem maybe.
I live about 3 minutes from the convenient store. It takes 10 seconds to walk to the back, another 12 to pick up the beer and walk to the cash register, 17 seconds to pay for it, 14 to start my car, and another 3 minutes to get back home. And then 7 seconds to sit down on the couch with my beer.
Total time to get a six pack = 7 minutes.
If you’re talking about abs, I’d say you could do it in about 6 weeks if you do several hundred crunches a day and you didn’t start out with a large keg for a stomach.

how can you get toned six pack abs without using machines and stuff? are there any exercises that work? or websites you’ve tried that work? what’s the fastest and easiest way?
Good to see that you are also fitness loving person like me. You must do Curls, pushups, situps, crunch and reverse crunch, jogging,Cable rotation, pull ups ,running and other strength exercise to be fit and gain abs. Also take healthy nutritious diet such as protein rich supplements, veggies etc. Here is the site which will help you to get nice six pack abs in lessthan 2 months. .

Exercises to target the lower abs and obliques….there’s many kinds look up some online or get an ab lounge, those work

Yeah I’m glad you said in a couple of months, thats the safest route to go. I’ve come across a lot that say get a six pack real fast but its scary to think what they could make you do.

I recently lost around 90 pounds because i was obese and i wanted to get in shape. I am now mantaining my weight but i have all this excess skin and belly flab and arm flab. How do i build a strong abdominum? please tell me good excersises, how much time i should do it, etc. at the very least i want a flat belly by june because i am trying to impress a girl, but if there are quick ways to do it that would be appreciated. tysm
Work out with weights to build muscle. Max out at least once a week and you will notice that each week you will be able to life a little more. For the quickest results use muscle building supplements that contain glycocarn.

I am 12 years old and i need help getting a six pack i need suggestions on ab exercise and what to eat?
Some serious heavy weight lifting, eating very healthy, and exercise to your fullest…..but doing that would harm your body more than help it. You need to slow the pace down. No way in hell can you get a 6 abs at that age. Eat more green vegetables, drink milk, lessen the fats and junk foods intake. Exercises like crunches, push ups, sit ups, cardio, or sports, but don’t stress your muscles out. If you’re planning on weight lifting or doing dumbbells curls, do it around 2~3 times a week. Most important thing is to let your muscles rest and sleep 6~8 hours a day.
